lately ever time i’m getting ready to complain everything turns around. yesterday, ben turned me on to a slick deal where becasue of some wacky system coupon and in-store discount at office depot, you could get 150 dvds for $40 or something. anyway, the store near me only had 5 packs of 15, so it would’ve been $14 for 75. i ordered it, saying i’d pay cash when i got to the store, and today when i did, they said they didn’t have anymore. so of course i’m pissed, the assistant manager assisting me, said he’d talk to his supervisor to see if there was anything they could do for my inconvenience, and that’d he’d “call me”… i figured yeh right, and was thinking how much i hate office depot and how i’m gonna go home and post on all the blogs that they blow. but while i was at blockbuster getting some dvds with my free coupons (i’m a such a cheapo), richard called me up, and said that because i was inconvenienced, and since they weren’t going to be getting any more of those in, he’d simply give me a 100pack of dvd+r’s for free… i thought i didn’t hear him right, but when i showed up, he apologized again, and sent me on my way with a free 100 pack. anyway, jimmy hats off to office depot.

pretty kick back weekend. costin ben, and marco went out on friday night, and i guess ben and costin got into another one of their tiffs, this one like the last one seemingly more terminal. played golf with ben on saturday, and then just hung around/played some poker with ben, james and jen. sunday i went on a bike ride, then hit the gym, changed my oil and then went and watched the oscars at sanam’s. the last time i was at her place was for the 1998 MTV music awards :p

so i was all happy that they’re sending me a new sim card for free, but i guess to do that, they had to turn off my old one, so i have NO fucking service now. and since i don’t have a home phone, the inteweb is all i have. so yeh, it better fucking arrive tomorrow, or i’m sans communicado all weekend.

jesus i’m tired. at the computers in these classes have internet access :) i got class tonight again until 10, but friday is only a half day, so i’m pretty much in the clear from here. my phone is acting up again, where outgoing calls sometimes don’t work right, and the other person can’t hear me… so i called up at&t national business ordering, and they’re gonna send me out a new sim card. so while i’m having problems with the new cingular, at least they’re doing what they can to fix it.

that i had to wake up at 6a to drive in traffic for more than an hour to be at work by 8 (i did get to listen to govenor swarzenegger present at my company today), leave work at 5p, only to drive for more than an hour and a half thru the rain… anyway, i checked my mailbox expecting my tax return which i didn’t get, but i did get a lawsuit settlement from this classaction lawsuit that i had signed against best buy llc for some wage dispuit or something, i had just signed my name on this form that a lawyer sent me, which stated i couldn’t sue them any more regarding wages… anyway, it was for $850 =P

i got this 6 sigma training this week… 8a-5p everyday, so i gotta get up at like 6 to be to class on time. this week’s gonna blow. i bought a coffee machine in anticipation.

ben’s still sick, so no golf for me this weekend, other than some driving range time with takako. yesterday her and i had dinner at cafe picolo, a kinda post-valentines dinner. anway, ben and i saw hitch today, which was a good rainy day movie, i’d have to say it’s the best i’ve seen all year, but i think, it’s the only movie i’ve seen in the theatre all year.
