apple vs cable tv $20 bet
ben thinks that 10% of cable tv users will forego their cable tv and switch to apple’s version of instant entertainment in 5 years… psh, dreamer.
xbox 2 vs ps 3
thought i’d put this here, so there might be a better chance of remembering it. ben bet me $20 that the xbox2 would have more marketshare than the ps3 by may, 2007. yeh, a long ways out. at the current rate of inflation, the bet will only be good for $18.46 of today’s money, but whatever, i’ll take it.
speaking of bets, that $20 bet between ben and james will be coming up again soon…
$5 i fall asleep at my desk before the day’s up
busy as all hell of a weekend. last night i took takako and two of her friends to an italian restraunt at the third street promenade.
pimp tip #1, (which i think costin or marco told me, or maybe i read it in a magazine?) when everyone’s finishing up with the meal, excuse yourself to the restroom or something and discreetly ask for and pay the bill, so that when your date(s) wonder where the check is, and the server comes around and just says “thank you” there’s no one feining to want to pay the bill, or you having to look over the check, etc. P-I-M-P.
anyway, they had this one street performer there that had a monkey with a baseball cap on that if you handed it money it would put it in it’s pocket. and if it dropped a coin or something, it’d pick it off the ground an put it in the pocket… i’m still laughing.
and i haven’t been sleeping as sound as i usually do, i think one reason was last night i had coffee with my dessert and also i think my comforter is too thick now that the weather’s getting warmer, i’ll have to stop by ikea on my way home.
and my legs are wobbly as hell from that ride on saturday. good thing me and ben are doing a spin class tonite :)
will michael be convicted of child molestation?
ben bet james $20 that he would be convicted of child molestation. i’d tend to side with james, but i doubt ben’s taking any more action on it.
although i just read this:
“Jurors in Michael Jackson trial can hear testimony about past sexual abuse allegations, judge rules.”
