so most of the cast of the hit fox series reunion headed up to snow summit to hit the slopes. it hasn’t actually snowed yet in southern california, but the dry, cold air has made for great snowmaking conditions and i honestly couldn’t tell the difference. the day started off pretty cold and i was well suited for it, but it got really warm mid-day, and since mike and i attached our lift passes to our jackets, we went naked underneath (actually i still had on suspenders). i “startled” the woman at the locker counter, but i think she was just excited. unfortunately the cold air froze my nipples and the suspenders chaffed them pretty bad. the neosporin seems to be helping though. the slopes were pretty empty, and there was no line at any time during the day so we got in about 10 runs. this time i finally got really comfortable with the carving, and wasn’t too far behind mike and shal. i figure if i get to go up another 5 or so times this season, i’ll be pretty good by the end of it.

i didn’t take my camera onto the mountain, but i’ll have to next time. here’s a few pics on the way up:
