attacking the federals in tradewars 2002
i’ve been really lazy on the blogging lately, wasting a lot of that time instead playing tradewars 2002, the late 80′s/early 90′s bbs game mentioned in the previous post. i’m playing in a modified game that has different ships than the original version, ships that are much stronger and have much higher capacities of fighters, shields and holds. anyway so far i’m owning the game i’m in and got kinda bored. my ship can hold 400,000 fighters and 16,000 shields. in this configuration it was easy to blow up the stardock, so i got cocky and decided to try to take on admiral clausewitz, my 400,000 fighters v. his 50,000. i’d always wondered what would happen or if there was any way you could defeat the federals. well, the answer is no. you can not defeat the federals in tw2002. now to earn back my $230,000,000 to buy the ship again.

i imagine this is nostalgic to ben and costin and confusing to everyone else. we used to waste a lot of time playing this game together in high school. man, when this game was made in the late 80′s, did they really think we’d all live in spaceships in 2002?

two of my favorite hobbies now have their own kentomatic spin-offs on the interweb.
for all of your long beach inshore and offshore fishing interests, check out www.fishin-impossible.com. this site has actually been up for about a year, but i haven’t really done much with it until now. the site will have my latest fishing logs and stories, and other fishing news from around the world.
for all of your honda s2000 interests, i’m pleased to introduce the s2k blog. this site will be dedicated to the honda s2000, and will focus on installs, upgrades and how-to’s.
i hope you enjoy the new sites, and thank you for all of your support over the last 1000+ posts on kentomatic.com.
No commentsscandalous way to keep your cable modem bill low
i don’t know if my cable company is just kinda stupid or if this works with everyone, but every 3 months, i just switch to their current promotional package. the 3mb/s package is normally $60, but $20 for the first 3 months, and the 5mb/s package is normally $70, but $30 for the first 3 months. so every 3 months i just switch between the two, and have been paying the promotional price of either $20 or $30 for over a year now.
one time i forgot to switch and was charged the full price. i called saying that i was told the promotion was 6 months and they went ahead and fixed my current bill and kept me on the promotion plan for another 3 months. sure it’s all kinda scandalous, but an easy way to keep one of your bills low.

yep, someday i’ll sell this site and be able to retire off it.

ah, the gradiose power of the internets. the anti-american idol website, www.votefortheworst.com has been around for a few years, but only this season is really taking off. their philosphy is that:
During the initial auditions, the producers of Idol only let certain people through. Many good people are turned away and many bad singers are kept around to see Simon, Paula, and Randy so that America will be entertained.
Now why do the producers do this? It’s simple: American Idol is not about singing at all, it’s about making good reality TV and enjoying the cheesy, guilty pleasure of watching bad singing.
they’re currently promoting sanjaya malakar, since he’s by far the worst on the show this season. last night, he didn’t even make the bottom 3, so their power is finally being realized. anyway, i’d love to see sanjaya win the competition, if nothing more for the look on simon’s face.
No commentsthepiratebay.org to buy it’s own country?
who knows about the validity of this article, but according to it, the bit torrent site thepiratebay.org wants to buy sealand, a 500 meter island, 7 miles off the coast of england.
Recently it was made clear that this country is for sale. To make sure the owners will be kopimistic and that the country won’t be governed by people that do not care about its future, we have come up with a plan. With the help of all the kopimists on Internets, we want to buy Sealand. Donate money and you will become a citizien.
i’m totally donating $10 to get my pRon and warez and have dual citizenship at the same time ;)
