    Nice to see. There is an army out there bitterly opposed to this. Sadly, their money and influence have had some impact. The wrong tail wagging the dog. The west should not be so culturally phobic.

    Iuno, for the most part (At least in my area of Canada) no one minds this kind of thing… Obviously quite a number of guys love it for what it is, but culturally it’s pretty accepted ’round here.

    That’s not Sandra Izbasa, it’s Ksenia Semenova and that’s not Yelena Zamolodchikova, it’s Ksenia Afanyseva.
    For one, Zamo wasn’t even at these games. Also, Sandra wore a dark green leo for the all around, not the blue and white one (you can tell it’s AA because of Nastia pink leo, she didn’t wear that at any of the other events).

    Also, it’s perfectly acceptable in Europe and in Russia for friends to greet each other with a kiss.

    i am an elite gymnast on the national team (#4) and mindra is right Nastia only wore her pink leo for aa.

    I am European and it is the way they greet each other in Europe. They greet each other with a kiss. The people from USA have gotten so crazy about it that they think anyone who kisses a person of the same sex is gay or lesbian. This is not true and the two girls are either greeting each other or congratulating each other, nothing more get your minds out of the toilet.
