kentomatic is actually making a few bucks every month from sponsorships. i really only need it to pay the hosting fees, and since you readers put up with the ads and even occasionally click on them, i thought i’d share the wealth.

to wit, we have the classic question of how many jelly beans are in the jar. closest wins, or first person to guess the exact amount wins. non-price is right rules. one guess per person. enter your name and guess into the comments. if i don’t actually know who you are, make sure you put an email address in there too. game ends 12pm friday, december november 30th. winner will be announced immediately afterwards. the winner gets a $15 itunes giftcard. hyperion gundam not included.

    i seriously drew diagrams to do make the calculations. there are 379 jelly beans in that bottle.

    can you please change the date on the end of the contest? it should be dec 30th at the latest or until no one has made a guess for 3 days.

    oops, fixed the end date. it’s this friday, november not december 30th. unless someone hits it dead-on before then, which no one has so far.
