i was all into survivor for the first couple of seasons, then it got pretty boring, but i’m thinking that i’m going to have to watch this season, where they break the groups into 4 tribes: brown, black, white and yellow.

without knowing more about the players other than my well ingrained racial sterotypes, and as much as i’m gonna be cheering on the white and asian teams, i’m putting my money on the latinos to take it. they’re used to living in crappy conditions and seem to identify well with other latin groups, so they’re likely to work well as a team. and when it comes to the challenges, they’re gonna take it as seriously as the alamo… except they’re gonna win this one.

the black team is probably the strongest phsically, but i’m guessing the women are gonna be mouthing off the whole time, and watch jeff probst is gonna set their camp up next to a watermelon patch. they ain’t gonna even bother showing up to the challenges.

unlike the latinos, asians of differenent cultures don’t get along all that well with other asians… asian pride is usually in their specific race, not in the asian culture as a whole. plus they have a gay guy. while definitely the smartest team, i bet they’re philosophies are gonna be all fucked up, with the chu-man-fu guy talking about confucious, the gay guy talking about his nails and johnny tran talking about boosting civics. man, and that asian chick in the yellow looks like she’s got that bossy attitude. bitchy, bossy asian girls = nails on a chalkboard.

the white team prolly has the second best chance of winning, while dumber, weaker and not as used to living in fucked up conditions as some of their competition, in past episodes they’ve got along alright. although this is the first time they’ve had so many minorities with them, let alone against them. i bet one of the white bitches are gonna freak out about being surrounded by brown, black and yellow people and go nuts. the white team’s prolly gonna be the most nervous about racially offending anyone else, and be fucked up in the head beacuse of it. anyway, it’s gonna be a great show. may the best race win.
